Getting Started

Please note: access to sku set functionality is done through an approval process. Contact us for more information.

In order to work with sku sets you will need access to software that generates CSV files (comma separated value files). The most popular is MS Excel. The easiest example would be to have a spreadsheet with a list of SKUs or UIDs in the first column. Save the document in CSV format, and you have a sku set to work with.

Here is a quick list of skus that you can copy and paste into your software.

4040XP-H AL
4040XP-H DKBRZ
4040XP-HCUSH AL
4040XP-HCUSH DKBRZ

In the Save As... window, be sure to select the correct format when saving. This will append your file with .csv.

If you need assistance with getting lists of skus please open a live chat or contact us.

Uploading Sku Sets

On seclock.com, login and go to your Account -> Sku Sets page. This page is only accessible to those customers who have been given access.

Click the +Create New button:

Fill out the form details:

  1. Give the sku set a name

  2. Click Choose File and select your CSV

  3. Choose the file type, a list of SKUs or UIDs

  4. If your CSV has a column header row, toggle the Ignore First Row button

  5. Click Upload File

You now have your first sku set uploaded! You will receive an email when the sku set has completed processing, with a link back to the site where you can download it.

The resulting file is a CSV with extracted data on the skus you included: sku, uid, manufacturer, list price, your cost, description, list pricing effective date, and current inventory.

You can now use this extracted CSV to upload to your own system or software.

Working with Created Sets

Once you have created a set, you can go back and download the set data at any time, as many times are you like. The download will always show real-time data as of the moment of extract.

The detail view of a sku set allows you to view it's extract history, and let you re-generate an extract. You can also change the name of the set, download the source file, and delete the set.

To re-generate data, click Export Again. To download a previous generation, click the download button in the Export History table row.

To download the original sku set upload, click the Source link.

If your list of skus contains items that do not match our system, the Not Found and Recall columns will tell you what was skipped in the output. If lines were skipped, it will give you a link to download the list of skipped skus.
