Dark Mode in Source Mode provides a comfortable viewing experience optimized for low-light environments while reducing eye strain during extended usage. This feature allows users to switch between light and dark color schemes based on their preference or system settings.

What is Dark Mode?

Dark Mode is a display setting that uses a dark color palette throughout the Source Mode interface. It replaces the traditional light backgrounds with darker colors and adjusts text and UI elements for optimal contrast and readability.

Benefits of Dark Mode

  • Reduced eye strain: Particularly beneficial during nighttime usage or in low-light environments

  • Battery conservation: On OLED and AMOLED displays, dark pixels consume less power

  • Enhanced focus: Darker backgrounds can reduce distractions and improve concentration

  • Accessibility: Helps users with light sensitivity or certain visual conditions

How to Enable Dark Mode in Source Mode

Source Mode is set to light mode by default. If you would like to enable Dark Mode, simply hit the gear icon in the top right nav and flip the switch to dark. You can switch it back when/if you choose.

The mode setting will stay intact until you change it, even across log out or browser cache reset.
