SECLOCK strives to show you the most accurate, up-to-date stocking information for every product you view on our site.

Inventory Details

Next to all stock quantities is a link to show inventory details. The detail view gives you a picture of stock by warehouse, plus a little app to estimate the shipping days required to reach your zip code from each warehouse. The details will also sometimes give you information about lead times, such as the average days an item takes to be procured from the manufacturer.

Lead Times

If an item is available for backorder, you will most likely see an average lead time on getting the item from the manufacturer.

In-Stock and In-Stock Plus (+)

When you see a plus sign (+) next to an item, it means that we can usually build more - a lot more. So if you need more than what is showing in-stock, most often we can accommodate the quantity being requested. Read about what buildable means in the next section.

Buildable from components

When you see something is buildable or available from components, this means we can usually assemble the product from off-the-shelf items. This designation usually applies to (but not limited to): locks, exit devices, and closers. We stock most functions, finishes, designs, and voltages in component form, so go ahead and add the item to your cart. If there is something we can't build due to out-of-stock components, we will let you know during the order process. Or just chat or call โ€“ our service reps will be happy to get you the answers your need.

Build Requests

In some cases when an item does not show any stock, you may see a message at the bottom of the add to cart section that allow you to start a Build Request. We can sometimes assemble the product from off-the-shelf items. If you start a request, the SECLOCK bot will ask you a few questions about your request, and then send a live chat associate a new message automatically. That person will respond within minutes to your request and confirm the availability of a build.

In Transit

If a product is on-route from the manufacturer to SECLOCK, we will show you the number of units coming in. This allows you to order more than the in-stock quantity, and get the items shipped when they hit our warehouses. If you order more than the shown in-stock quantity and we have items in transit, we will work to get those items committed to your order.

What if an item shows out of stock?

Even if an item is listed as out of stock, we can almost always re-configure from products on hand. On the rare occasion an item is unable to be configured, we will leverage our strong relationships with our factory partners to order the item in an expedited manner so your workflow will not be disrupted.
